Anybody can sue anybody for anything. The real question is what qualtifiable DAMAGES have you suffered that you want the company to pay in order to make you "whole". In other words, HOW were you damaged? What expenses did you incur? Got a therapist's report that you're now suffering from PTSD and can't work? Lawsuits are all about damages. You'll need to figure out what those damages are, and how much they are worth. Then you'll be in a position to determine if it's worth your time, money, and effort to bring a case, either by yourself, or with the assistance of an attorney.

While pointers can be helpful, ultimately the number one lesson in any legal action is: don't take legal advice from books, family, friends, co-workers, police officers, grocery clerks, web sites, or people on legal message boards. The only person who can give YOU legal advice is YOUR attorney.
