I was wondering how long after you fill out your w-9 do you receive an inheritence? I am asking b/c a loved one died almost 6 months ago and left things to people. A person named in the will has been buying things taht were "out of reach" before and giving things away from the property taht was willed to them. I was wonfering how this was possible when no one else has recieved anything. Is the law different when you are left property and a monitary gift?
