Default voluntary relinquishment of parental rights

My ex-boyfriend is worried about child support and I'm worried about custody. We've agreed that he will sign a voluntary relinquishment of parental rights. Once he signs it then what? Where do I send it so that it is properly registered and is binding?

Default There is no registry per se

There is no registry like you're thinking. What you do is file a Petition to Terminate with his Affidavit. Then you ask the Judge to sign an Order Terminating his parental rights. Once the Order is signed it is binding official registered bona fide etc. Be pleased to talk with you about processing the paperwork on your agreed termination. If you're interested please call 214/750-0500 for a consult. Rita M. Boyd Attorney

Default Adoption of my step son

I want to have the biological father sent a Voluntary Relinquishment of Parental Rights through certified mail. Is this downloadable? Would it suffice to the court whether he signed it or not? I prefer he sign it and be done with him. However he is no where to be found no child support. All of the common things I read about. My step son request information about "having the same last name as the rest of us" all the time. Wouldn't I have proof that I have attempted to contact him prior to filing the termination/adoption paperwork at the county courthouse? Your thoughts? Thanks Ron
