Can someone help me with what needs to be done for a parent to vol. terminate their rights in the state of Iowa? Child is 5 parent has not seen or wanted to see the child since he was 11 mo. Parent does pay minimal child support do to them taking out of his paycheck. He is willing to sign over his rights. What are the laws around this? Is it possible? I am not married nor dating anyone but if something were to happen to me it is clear the child would be better off with my family. Any help would be great! Thanks!
