My husband owns 1/3 of a LLC. Do I have any rights? My concern is if something happened to him that myself and my daughter would not be protected because I am not listed on the partnership or have any other kind of legal protection that leaves me his part of the business. What if we were divorced would I be entitled to anything. This is a pretty lucrative business and provides all of our income. I supported us for about a year while he was getting this business off the ground and am concerned that we haven't done anything to protect us if anything should happen to him. What happen's to his part of the business. He draws a monthly salary. It doesn't seem to bother him, he thinks his partners will continue to give us an income if that should happen but I think there needs to be something legal to go buy. Just not sure where to start.
