Please advise if I can press charges against someone who has unauthorized possession of my SSN. She has not yet used it for identity theft purposes but has used it to make false claims against me on a court form. It is quite disturbing to me that she has my SSN in her possession. She did not need this information to complete the court forms (was not a requirement) and I'm afraid she may have other intentions being that she is in an adulterous relationship with my husband. I would appreciate any type of advise on how to handle this before it gets out of hand. Thanks!
