Asset acceptance has reentered a new written account on my husbands credit report after the original revolving account's statues of limitations has expired, this was done without our knowledge.....can they really legally do this? And if not, can someone direct me to the information on the laws in this matter?

I am sorry, I am not understanding your situation.

Not clear what happened. BUT what the other party can do probably depends on your agreement with them. No way that you can get contract intrepreted on line. Either consult and attorney now or wait until they try to collect. Then you may have specific rights that an attorney can protect.

You need to also consider looking into Fair Credit Reporting Act.
