I purchased a 2003 buick regal several years ago in SD. I live in Colorado now though currently in Texas looking for work. I have been unemployed since june 09 with no unemployment benefit s. Friends and family have been able to help but now I have run out of options I m currently behind on the note 90 day s I owe $10,000 and the interest has been jacked up to 17% (ouch I know)
I have taken the car to dealers and they don't want it or have given me $1,000 or $ 2,100 offer s I currently have some people looking at the vehicle with an offer of $ 4,000 But Wells Fargo Auto Finance isn t working with me I DO NOT want a repo what are my right s and is a settlement / charge off as bad as a repo? Any help is appreciated I truely just want to get this taken care of in a decent respectful way for both of use I m not trying to get out of anything
