Timeshare in Mexico
My husband and I purchased in full a timeshare in Mexico in October, 2007. We were shown plans to expand the rooms and services of the resort. The project was to be completed by April, 2008. According to the resort website, the expansion, which included the property we "purchased," has not occurred. In November, 2007, we received by mail a verification statement requesting signatures to be returned within the week, but we kept the form while we waited for reports of completion of the resort. Since the property we "bought" still does not exist, we feel that we have been defrauded and are seeking a way to officially cancel the contract and have our money returned. I am seeking advice from anyone who could help me in resolving this situation.
