Question Third wife not a charm.

My father was included in a trust written in Utah, after several months of not being contacted, the third wife of his father figure has refused to provide the name of the attorney involved. Any suggestions to finding out how to proceed with this situation?

Oh, I can understand this must be a frustrating situation. Pardon my asking, but I wanted to clarify a point that may be obvious - is your father's father deceased now and the trust being administered by someone? If so, usually, the person or entity (sometimes a bank) administering the trust is obligated to notify the beneficiaries of the trust of what the trust provides.

I assume the motivation to contact the attorney is to find out what the trust says about what your father is entitled to? The first step would be to confirm he actually is included in the trust.

I suggest you contact an attorney to determine the legal options for dealing with the father's father's third wife. You can find oe through the locator service on LawInfo's home page at: http://www.lawinfo.com/. Good luck.

There is an executer, we do have his name, it is the son of wife#3, and truley I do not believe this poor mid forty something man is allowed to use the restroom without her permission.

We need to find an attorney in Utah, sought advice locally, and thats as far as we can get from here. I am afraid the obligation to notify is out the window! Too many little things, some & big, do not add up! Going to check the locater, thank you! Any other info or ideas,I would appreciate them.
