Default THEFT OF PRESCRIBED PAIN MEDICATION (MORPHINE)

I would really appreciate any help I can get before tomorrow at 1:00 P.M. My neice (28 years old) worked as caregiver for a lady that hired her as a private employee. My neice has been accused of stealing her pain medication. The deputies have told Tina that she has to take a polygraph test by tomorrow afternoon or she will be issued a warrant for her arrest. To be honest I do not know for sure whether she did or did not do this. I am concerned about them bullying her into a polygraph test that she really does not want to take. She can not afford an attorney. This is a county in Texas with the "good ole boys" mentality. Could someone please tell us what her rights are? Thanks in advance. Gladys

Default morphine theft

Refuse the polygraf and apply for a public defender. If she is nervous and fails the poly....they could charge her 1 felony for each pill stolen. I had this happen to me, my meds were stolen but 2 different people could have taken so no charges were filed on anyone. I did get kicked outta my pain mngt tho. Your absolutely need a Public Defender! Plus they have to "prove" she did it. Poly's arent allowed in court as evidence i believe. I live in PA.
