Default termination of parental rights

For years I have fought for custody of my 2 children and was granted this in 2007. I was just diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in advanced stage. I need to know how to relequish all my parental rights of both children to their biological mother. In the last order I was granted Sole custody of them. Any helpful information would be appreciated

Let me try again. You do not need to release your self of parental rights. If your illness is terminal that snot needed. What you need to do and is much easier is to change custody. That can be done in court with a simple petition you or your Attorney can do. Go to courthouse and ask for paperwork and filing instructions. However I suspect unless ther eis court order that rules otherwise if you were to pass on your children would naturally go to thier Bio Mother's care

I can understand this is a difficult situation. I suggest you contact an attorney to determine your legal options regarding your situation and what options are available to meet whatever objectives you have in mind for your children. You can find an attorney through the locator service on LawInfo’s home page at: http://www.lawinfo.com/.

You can also browse through the information in LawInfo’s Free Legal Resource Center here: http://www.lawinfo.com/index.cfm/fus...lient.consumer, or search for your particular topic here: http://resources.lawinfo.com/index.html.
