Temporary Guardianship
I am wanting Temp.Guardianship of three of my grandchildren. Parents are having problems and I think it would be in the best interest of the children to be out of that atmosphere. Both parents have agreed to sign giving me custody. My question is: Do I need to go through an attorney to accomplish this task? I talked with one attorney and his fee was $750.00. I am retired and on Social Security and any money I have I would rather have for raising grandkids. Can I file for temp.guardianship w/o an attorney?
