this is VIr, right now i m in US on B1 VISA. and I will apply to change my status from B1 to F1. so, i would like to know that is it possible for me to get SSN on B1 visa or i should get it after F1 visa getting done. I m right residing in maryland. So, please suggest me about that. thanking you.
