Default Smell trouble, need insight

About 5 days ago a couple guys I know were arrested and charged. The owner of the home where this took
place was charged with operating a meth lab. The other guy was charged with Possession.
I learned through Vinelink.com, (a service that reveals custody status of offenders. I’ve used this service
many times and find it to be quite reliable), the guy with the Possessions charge posted bail and was
released. But for the one charged with Operating it reads that he is scheduled to be released within 15 days. Scheduled on 3/1/2010. It goes on to say, This date may change and that I’d be informed if it does.
His Custody statue is listed as “In Custody”. He hasn’t been sentenced. His Case Status is listed as “Open”.
He hasn’t even been to court yet with the exception of having bond set.
So what reason could there be for this future date. Could it be that he’s snitching. If any one has any thoughts I’d like to hear from you.
Thanks, Karen

It is hard to say. You would need to actually contact the facility where the person is being held.

Yeah, that's really odd since he hasn't been to court yet. But we can't immediately conclude that he's snitching in exchange for release. Can it be that Vinelink.com simply made a mistake? Just to be sure, contact the detention facility where the person is being held just like the moderator said.
