Angry SlumLord

I have lived at Liberty Creek Apartments for 9 months now. I am on a 12 month lease. I have called over 50 times about leaks in my walls, mold growing, leaking sink and broken garbage disposal. In 9 months of calilng only one leak has been fixed. I now have mold growing in my masterbed room closet due to a leak in the wall. My garbage disposal is leaking so bad that I have a bucket under it just to wash dishes and my property has been damaged from the leaks. My family is constantly sick. I have 3 small children and one has asthma. I don't know where to report slum lords in my county. I live in Arapahoe County. What steps do I take?

I agree. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
