This is kind of an odd topic I'm sure on here, but I need some help and not sure what direction to take.
For the past couple of years I have been shopping at a big chain of second hand stores here in the valley.
What I do for extra income is buy electronics, most of which are broken fix them and sell them on ebay.
This week I went on my normal rounds and was told I needed to leave immediately at one of the stores.
They gave me a phone number and a name to call the corporate office and they would tell me why.
I called and spoke to a gentleman that said I was banned from all the stores and he told me that there was a complaint from one of the workers that I said many extreme derogatory statements to them. This is completely
untrue, I do not even talk to anyone that work in the stores, just go in, purchase and go to the next. This is the worse feeling in the world to be accused of something that is going to dramatically change my life. I will barely even be able to get by now. I asked if they could have got me mixed up with someone else, but they said they took my picture off the camera after the complaint was made. I am talking with them again next week to try to get things straightened out. I was told that if I went into any stores I would be called on for trespassing. Is there anything I can do???? please help, thanks in advance.

A store can ban you for any reason. They are private entities. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html and http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/index.html. You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer to determine what legal options may be available. In the meantime, you may be able to learn more on your own. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.
