I have sole custody of my daughter and have remarried. I would like to know if my new husband could have any rights given to him. My ex husband does play a role in my daughters life but is not an active father.
By rights do you mean legal rights? As long as the child's fathers rights have not been terminated legally then no. However you may afford him all the rights you wish at your discretion.
