My husband took an alford plea in wisconsin on a misdemeanor sex charge. The judge gave him suspended sentence and 1 yr. probation in conditions he stated it was ok to be around minors under 18 yrs. of age and he had to get a sex offender assessment and drug assessment. We live in Missouri so his probation was transferred here in Wisconsin he would not have to register but in Missouri he did. His probation officer gave him extra hoops to jump thru. He is now in jail on violation of probation for an assault offense. He is going to get out on probation for this and Wisconsin is taking the 5months he spent in jail here as time served. Will he have to attend sex offender treatment while he is out on probation even though this last offense was not sex related?
