I wanted to know if a business is going to serve papers to some who owes them money does the papers have to be served at their home address or can it be at their place of work. I don't have a good home address but I know where they work.

Where the person is served means nothing long as they are served

I was personally fond of the famous case where a certain gentleman was served for a child support case by the DJ at his wedding, who also happened to be a licensed process server. Brilliant.
