My spouse moved out June 1st. We have a temp order in place. He stopped paying all bills and has threatened Ch 13 unless I drop child support. We have 3 joint bills, 2 of which are assets (but hardly any equity). I also am joint owner of his truck, worth $9,000.

Questions...
1. Are the assets I kept at the time of separation in jeopardy with his bankruptcy?
2. What happens to the truck he owns, which I am on the title for (it is owned free and clear)? Can I take a lien out on the truck since he is not following the temporary order (he has not filed yet)?
3. What can I do to reduce my impact later on the 3 joint bills? Can I negotiate with the creditors after his meeting with them?

HELP!!! I do not want to file for bankruptcy and he is using this as a form of blackmail.
