YOU can't. The ONLY person with a POSSIBLE case to overturn the adoption is your father. HE can attempt to challenge the adoption - however, if the steps to adoption were followed as required in your state, and either proper notice was given to dad, or alternative notice was accepted by the court, then the adoption will stand. Even IF the adoption WERE to be overturned (which is VERY rare), custody isn't going to be handed over to someone who has been a legal stranger thus far. He would START with small increments of visitation (possibly even supervised visitation) and would gradually be worked up to standard visitation unless there were circumstances where the court felt less time or more supervision was needed. But if you are working under the assumption that a dad who never even established paternity can suddenly enter the picture and you're going to go live with him, no. That's not going to happen, even with the BEST case scenario.

While pointers can be helpful, ultimately the number one lesson in any legal action is: don't take legal advice from books, family, friends, co-workers, police officers, grocery clerks, web sites, or people on legal message boards. The only person who can give YOU legal advice is YOUR attorney.
