A Florida broadband provider made an offer 10% off their retail rate if the contract was made on-line. The web site promoted a rate of $29.00 per month however, at the foot of the page in small print, was added the words 'plus applicable taxes'
Question: Am I entitled to a rate of '10% of $29.00' or 10% of '$29.00 plus applicable taxes?'
I say the former whereas as the provider says the latter.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
