I divorced last year and it was agreed that my ex would refinance the house in Dec 05. He has yet to do so and I need to get my name off of the loan because it is causing tremendous complications for me to finance anything in my name. Debt to income ratio is extremely off. What can I do to make him refinance the house to remove my name.

If you are getting your name off the deed then call a title company to sign a quitlaim deed stating you no longer have an interest in this property and then take that to the bank and see if that will at least get you off the loan. I don't practice law but have known a few people that wete in your situation. Hope this helps or at least opens new avenuses to get what you need done.
