Default RED LIGHT TICKET ( bench trial friday 2-29 )

I agreed to a bench trial which will take place friday 2-29-08. The officer told me at the time of the ticket he had a video. So I contacted the prosecuters office ( how is a defense attorney in another county and does this part time ) and informed them that I would like to review the video and any notes the officer took. His legal sec. contacted me and said he did not have to let me see them, but he would the morning of the trial. Is this correct? If not where can I reference it?
The officer also made an illegal u turn over a concrete curbing when there was a turning lane about fifty feet in front of him. Is this proper or legal? If not where can I reference it? My name is tony, I live in georgia and any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can certainly understand this is a frustrating situation for you. Unfortunately, I am not sure about what rights you may have to view evidence prior to the trial, though it sounds like you will have the chance to review it anyway. I suggest you contact an attorney to determine your legal options. You can find an attorney through the locator service on LawInfo’s home page at: http://www.lawinfo.com/.

You might also learn more by searching for information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center here:

Good luck.
