I was in a verbal contract with a local business owner which sort of fell apart over something she sold me. She mis-represented the condition of something that I paid her for and when I confronted her with it she refused to give me a refund. On top of that, I had about $9000 dollars (total cost of inventory) worth of inventory in her shop on consignment and she now refuses to give that back either. Since everything was verbal am I pretty much out of luck or with my purchase receipts of all the items do I have a chance? Also, what are the laws regarding getting my money back for the mis-represented item that I purchased from her? I did file a police report, but that really didn't do anything. I just want my stuff back and my money for the junk that was sold to me. If you need any other information, please let me know and I'll get back to you ASAP.
