My parents passed away 10 years ago both had wills. The property was left to both my sister and I and is located in California I now live in Iowa. When I asked my sister for my share of the prperty she told me she had my mom's name removed from the deed and now it has just my sister's name on it. My sister said since the deed is in her name the wills are null and void. Is this correct?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
