We have a long time friend and neighbor who is 90 years old. His estranged daughter came and got him before Christmas for a 'visit' and since then has refused to let him come back home. (She lives in Georgia we live in KY)She has gotten Power of Attorney over him and has lied to do that. He is calling and writing us and asked us to please come get him. He has money to pay for extra care at home and we are willing to help him for free. I think she wants his money. What can we do? Is there any way around the Power of Attorney?
