My son and daughter came to live with me a year ago. After two months my daughter went back to live with her mom which is the custodial parent but I have joing custody and have the right base on the decree to make educational decisions. y son did not want to go back and livewith his mother because of certain thing that happened to him while he was with her. He does not want to have any contact with her and very little with his sister. They hardly ever call him and when they do talk to him it normally ends in a fight. I registered him for school this year in the district that I live in which is 4 miles away compared to 11 miles to te school his mother wants him to go to. He made to call on where he wanted to g to school and he picked the closer. His monther contacted the school district that I had registered him ad told them I did'nt have the reight to do this and he lived with her. Do I have the right to do this or not and is the only way to get by this is to go to court and try and have custody changed.
