I went to court on a no proof of insurance charge. I was fined $900. The judge said the fine was so high because I had been charged with another no proof of insurance within this year but the previous one had been dropped. When I had went to court for the previous charge I had proof that I had insurance when I was pulled over I just didn't have it in the car. Should my fine have been this high?
