Default Questions about marrying my Canadian fiancee in the USA

I am planning to marry my beloved Canadian Fiancee as soon as I can. But I can't find certain information for certain questions even on the Us immigration web sites. I know there is the fiancee visa, But we still need to actually meet face to face rather then via web cam, I am just asking for future knowledge.

I know the way of the fiancee visa. But to say for instance when she will be coming here to visit me on a temporary work and visitors visa she will be getting so she can legally work here to afford her expenses and stuff, What if we want to get married then and there before the filing of the fiancee visa. Is it possible to just get married and then file a green card via marriage form?

Immigration can be very complicated. I would suggest that you speak with an attorney regarding the best way to approach this. Have you browsed through the information in LawInfo's Free Legal Resource Center to learn more about your issue yet? See: http://www.lawinfo.com/consumer.html. Search the "Free Legal Resources" tab, or browse the Consumer Resources. Good luck.

Default Response.

I am not an attorney, but from experience, the main point is that fiancé visas are a lot easier to obtain, since you have to spend the money to go there and pick her up, and you only get one such visa per your whole life. If she can get a work/ visitor's visa, then of course she is allowed to marry here.

the best idea here is to get Fiancee visa rather than other visas you have in mind.

It's not possible to just get married and then file a green card via marriage form. You need to follow the rules and implement it. They have restrictions regarding that matter!

Just what everybody suggest here, an immigration lawyer is always the best answer to simple immigration problems. Even though I don't find any difficulty particularly if your fiancee is a nearby neighbor.
