i was arrested back in 97/98 january 1 for tresspasing outside of a bar/club. i went to court for the arrainment and then i was stationed overseas before my actual court date. i'm assuming that i should have received a bench warrant but when i went back to my home state of washington i ran into a friend that was a cop and he ran my i.d. nothing showed up but i'm curious if it would have gone into washington. otherwise is there a statute of limitations for this? is there a way to get rid of the warrant without going to jail? any help would be appreciated. thanks.
