Default Question about CPS

Our son and daughter had CPS called on them and for some reason are convinced that it takes CPS 3 calls to do an investigation, therefore they (wrongly) assume that we HAD to be one of them. I would just like proof to show them that it only takes one call to CPS for them to do an investigation.

Thanks!

There is no site or anything I can point you towards. However CPS is mandated to investigate all reasonable reports of abuse and that does not require three complaints

And that ONE necessary call can be (and often is) anonymous (an identity which CPS would protect anyway).
