Pressureed into buying and looking for answers
I recently bought a second hand vehicle at Centennial Toyota. It was really stressing especially I had to work at 2am. I got there between 6:30-6:45. I was only there to know how the promotion works. Sales Rep said you can buy any new or used car and you get 4000 if you bring in your vehicle that doesn't work. We were looking around at different cars. Sales Rep decided to get the Camry key to test drive but we didnt want to we were just looking around. Then we were looking at the Rav 4 and he said he will be back so we can test drive the Rav 4. After test driving a Rav 4 2004 I seen this black toyota pick up. I had asked him how much it is. He said about 23000-24000 and the monthly payment would be around like the Rav 4 $480.00. The sales Rep took us inside to check our credit. Then we went outside to decide if we really should get it. Then we saw the Sales Rep. He said we should get it it's nice and you can go to Lake Mead to pull the boat and etc... Basically we were pressured to buying the Toyota Tacoma. All we wanted is the total of the truck. I had asked him how much the truck would costs without taxes and fees. He said about twenty then he cut his sentence and said the financial guy will let you know. Then he changed the subject right away. Then few minutes later we decide to ask him again and he said the same thing "The financial guy will let you know." We got called inside and right when we walked in we had asked the financial guy how much the total without the taxes and fees. He said dont worry about it we will get there last. I had asked him how much again before I sign it and he said 25000. He made us sign a whole bunch of paper. I also remember reading about there is no 3 day period on vehicle in the state of Nevada. I thought once we buy the car its ours there's no 3 day grace period. So I signed it not knowing what it really meant. The financial guy distracted us from reading and from asking questions. The financial guy never explained what we are signing all he said is sign right here and puts it in the evelope. When we got home I decided to check Centennial Toyota's web site to know more about their Toyota Scion. Because the Sales Rep didn't want us to look at the Scions. He said those are not good and not certified. Whenever we look at the Scion he tells us that the interest is to high and the monthly payment would be $600. He said we can get it after 6months and trade the truck in. Then I decided to look at their used vehicles and I saw the Black Toyota Tacoma we just bought. The retail price was 23999 on the internet. They sold it to us for 31964.02. I was thinking they sold it to us like it was brand new vehicle. We went back there the next day and talked to the Sales Rep first. He said there's nothing I can do but come back Monday the 13. So we left and decided to turn around to talk to the Manager. The Manager said there's nothing he can do and the Finance paperwork has been processed. I was thinking how can they send the papers to the bank when it was less than 24hrs. I had asked what bank they said they don't know yet but its been processed. All the Manager said There's nothing he can do to help us. All we wanted from them is to give us the amount that was on the internet under the retail price minus the 4000 promo or work something out. But now since they have nothing to do with us after we purchased the truck we don't want any business from them. Please help us solve this issue before it's too late. I want to return the black toyota tacoma and not purchase anything and do business with Centennial Toyota at all. Please let me know what I can do to solve this problem.
