Does anyone know where I can find the official amount of time after which personal property is considered abandoned in NM?

I know someone who left a computer in the care of a local repair shop. The shop told her repairs would be a couple hundred dollars. Due to family tragedy it took her 2 months to get back to the shop -they didn't contact her in the interim. When she did finally contact them about doing the repairs they told her that they considered the computer abandoned and had gotten rid of it.

Any direction someone can point me in to research would be extremely helpful.
