I own a pawn shop. I read that the victim pays me for the items and pursues restitution from the pawner.
Can anyone point out this law in the mcl.

I received a letter from the county prosecutor that if i charge the victim for my losses i would be prosecuted.

Now i have police officers taking stuff and NO complaints being filed. PLEASE HELP!
