Default OWI 1st offense - deferred judgment - future options

Hello...I'm not quite sure if this message is going to be seen by anybody because I'm very new to this site. Hopefully an administrator will answer me though.

OK my situation is: I got an OWI on Dec 22 2005 at age 18, my BAC was .127, there was no accident, i didn't refuse breath test. I did get a deferred judgment...but what does that REALLY mean? Specifically, I'm going to be transferring to a university next year. Do I have to put on my application that I was arrested or do I just put that I was not convicted? Does it really mean I wasn't convicted? Is it even still on my record anymore? Or how about future jobs and careers...do I mention it on the application/resume/interview. I have tried to get information from other "officials" but I get different answers everytime.

Thank you.

You best bet is to call the district attorney or the prosecuting attorney in the county where the arrest was.
