Hello I'm new to this forum and I want to thank the good people who started it. This is my problem: I entered the US in june 1999 with authorization to stay for 3 years. My employer refused to extend my contract and I did not go back where I belong. I'm now illegal and I have been wondering if I should apply for asylum given my political backgroun in Cameroonor if I should wait 2006 when my girfriend becomes a citizen. Meanwhile I don't know what to do. I really hope that you provide me with some good advise as I have seen in previous posts. thank you balafa.
