Default Obtaining a deficiency judgment

What are the proper steps to start procedings for a judgement after default has occured thru a purchase money note, bill of sale , with a security interest agreement of personal property.
Can this be done thru the magistrates court, is an attorney necessary at this time.

Magistrate courts are typically only used for small dollar amounts. You would have to check with the actual court. Although you certainly can do this yourself, it is always better to at least consult with an attorney who can explain the proper procedure. You can locate one through the attorney locator on Lawinfo's home page at http://www.lawinfo.com/. Some do offer free consultations.
