Not working with mother live-in
My mother (on my invitation) has been living with us for 2.5 years. The agreement at the time was that she would live with us until she got a job, and could afford an apartment on her own. This was the agreement my husband, myself and my mom agreed to.
One year ago, she was asked to get a job and move out. She has not complied with this request.
Now, after providing her with room and board, all meals (including dining out), we are asking for rent. She was told that beginning June 1 she would be required to pay $200.00 rent a month to help pay the expenses associated with her living here.
If she doesn't pay us, can she be evicted? Please help!
On June 1 she was given a dealine of Oct. 1 to be out of the house. Can this be enforced? And if so, how?
Thanks!
