I have recently quit my job at a restraunt that hadn't paid me for around 5 weeks. They never had funds in their bank account and my boss didn't have the cash. It's been a week since I quit and they still won't pay me. My (ex)boss doesn't return my phone calls and when the rare occasion occurs that I do contact him he tells me first thing in the morning. Morning comes and I never hear from him or can't get ahold of him. I haven't been able to afford anything including the gas to get to college that I have invested $50,000 in and its leading me to failure. I get to class whenever I can borrow the money for gas from friends but it's not enough to pass. Would it be worth it to just sue him or just get my money from the department of labor?
