Default Non-modifiable Alimony

When my husband & I divorced 7 years ago, part of the separation agreement we worked out (acknowledged & signed off by the courts) was that the amount of the alimony paid to me each month was to be non-modifiable & to last until my remarriage or death (or his death, obviously). He now wants to take me to court to get this non-modifiable alimony/length of time changed. We live in Maryland. My question is can a non-modifiable alimony agreement be changed in court for any reason?

Do you have an attorney, or did you have an attorney during the original proceedings?
