I recently started a new job and I am still in my probationary period. I was pulled into my managers office yesterday and told that my job was on the line because the other employees had a bad impresssion of me. She did go into specifics like they told her that I don't answer the phones. She said she was telling me this because she wanted to give me the chance to turn this around. I have to say that I was very shocked. I know that I was nervous the first week or so and was not sure what was expected of me. The question is can I be fired because of a 'bad impression'?
