First, I would like to say that I am new to this forum so please excuse any informalities. I do however have a question with need of some guidance.

My friends daughter sent some explicit pictures of herself to a boy at another school. She is 15 years old and the recipient is 18 years of age. We asked an officer and he said that my friends ccould be in trouble, but I was under the impression that the boy who is 18 is in possession of child pornography, since his daughter is 15. I searched google, but was unable to find any information on this matter. Is there any laws in the state of North Carolina that can be charged to him? Or is his daughter the one that can be charged?

Any answers or further guidance will be greatly appreciated!
