My fiance is currently serving his last year of a 10 year sentence for Felony Forgery which he committed in 1996. He had been perscribed narcotic pain killers since May of 2004 Norco qty 60 refilled every 14 days. After his release from the hospital on January 1st 2005 he was perscribed Lortab 7.5mg/1-2 every 4 - 6 hours Valium 5 mg and Toradol 10 mg dosage on the last two? These 3 narcotics were perscribed heavily through the first week of February 2005. On or around February 12th or 13th he relapsed into alcohol and drug use he reported to his PO and confessed. Under the law code of Montana does this serve as mitigating or extinuating circumstances to explain not defend his violation as a one time occurance?

The Lortab is the brand name for the combination of acetaminophen (Tylenol) and hydrocodone. Lortab is prescribed for moderate to moderately severe pain. Hydrocodone binds to the pain receptors in the brain so that the sensation of pain is reduced. Acetaminophen halts the production of prostaglandins which otherwise cause pain. It is available in tablet, capsule, and liquid form and is taken every 4-6 hours by mouth. Codeine is a prescription strength narcotic pain reliever and Tylenol is a
very effective over-the-counter medicine.
When the two are mixed, the pain relief is greater than if only one was
taken.
And the Flexeril may be taken with or without food.
Flexeril should be used only for short periods (no more than 3 weeks). Since the type of injury that Flexeril treats should improve in a few weeks, there is no reason to use it for a longer period.
