I have an asylum status in this country and I have applied for my green card two years ago. Since 2009, I have not got any news yet from my application. Whenever I call to the customer service for the USCIS to figure it out, nobody tells me anything. So I want any suggestion to this matter which it is getting a little bit hard to cope with. I am trying to get any solution which might help me first to understand and what will be the next step to do so I can get my green card. A granted asylum person can get their green card after one year of the date they were granted asylum and to get the green card it takes only 4.5 months for the Texas Service Center where my case is being processed and now it has taken two years without getting any response even to know what is going on so please if someone knows or have accounted anything like this I will be happy to know how they have solved theirs.
