Just wanted to post something positive...my case was dropped and the truth came...My stepdaughter admitted that she lied and admitted she hit me twice and now has charges brought up against her plus they are also filing charges against her for lying....

A member by the name of Bay (I think wanted to throw this in my face because they dont like for someone to disagree with them so I wanted to share in teh good news)....

I'm glad the case seems to have been resolved appropriately and you feel you have recieved the justice that was due. The horrible thing is that people do lie.... but I'm glad in your case that the truth appears to have prevailed. Thanks for keeping us posted.

We were ready to go to court if necessary and I think that is what scared her more than anything else. I had nothing to hide and also may I say I have had really positive experiences with Police officers as there have been several in my family but this one we had to deal with at the least he was very judgemental and he did try to take care of people that were from his area. I do think also that they thought we would just fold up and take what ever was given. I was not going to accept a punishment for something I did not do. Yes it did cost some money actually about 750.00 to be exact but well worth every penny to see the look on stepdaughters face, the Police that did not take a statement from my husband that was also there, and the stepdaughters mother who was enjoying every minute of this until her daughter folded under pressure after she realized she was not as good a liar as what her mother taught her to be. PRICELESS!
Police officers can be a good thing but if he would have done his job and took a statement from all 4 people involved then the County would not have wasted their money on a case that was made up of all lies!
