I have been employed by a sub-contractor for over six years. About 18 months ago I started having problems with my left knee. I asked about going to doctor he blew me off siad he had no insurance. So I went to doctor under wifes insurance was sent to specialist. It took me almost a year to pay bill off. I had not returned to specialist I owed him money. when I returned to my primary doctor he pulled up mri test results and It was determined I had a tear in my knee and required surgery. I just found out about 3 months ago. now my question is were do I stand? Do I have recoarse. I have been laying hardwood floor for him for over six years. I work on my knees on concrete all day. I cant do this much longer it really hurts me and I need the surgery. How should I approach this? can I file a lawsuit?
