Mutual Agreement Primary Custody Change
I need a form that I can get my ex-husband to sign. We have mutually agreed to a Primary Custody Change of our 2 daughters age 13 and 14. My daughters have asked to come live with my and my husband and daughter in a town less than 200 miles away. We want to parent our children without having to go to court. It is too costly. I want to file a form with the courts showing the girls are living with me. He is very hesitant to sign anything. He agreed to sign Power of Attorney. All the Power of Attorney forms that I have found online do not really apply to our situation and only sound temporary as long as he says it is in affect. I do not feel that is offering me any security as far as keeping the kids living with me. I am afraid he will get mad at me and call the sheriff to take the kids if I don't have it filed with the courts. I need a strong leg to stand on. I believe he does not want to sign anything because he doesn't want to pay me child support. What form and steps can I take to accomplish this change without going to court? What fees can I expect with filing? Also because it is different counties which county should I file with? Thank you for any help you can give me. MominEdgewood
