Mother's Rights/ Leaving State

I was wondering if anyone knew what the law is in Georgia about leaving state with my child. I'm trying to leave an abusive marriage and I want to take my 6yr old daughter with me. However I don't want to be arrested for kidnapping either. Can I legally leave state with her without being arrested for kidnapping? I AM the childs natural mother and neither my husband OR I have "pysical custody" of her as we've never seperated or asked for it. Please help. Would like to leave soon and getting desperate.
